Broker Loses Registration, Fined $150G For Going Rogue With Hudson Valley Tequila Startup
A former New Jersey broker-dealer agent from Rockland County had his registration revoked and was fined $150,000 for steering clients to a Hudson Valley tequila startup whose founder went to federal prison. New video and information has been released of the Hudson Valley man who was killed in a police-involved shooting last month. The New Jersey Attorney General’s Office released audio and video recordings of the Saturday, May 23 shooting of Poughkeepsie resident Maurice Gordon, who was shot and killed by a New Jersey State trooper on the Garden State Parkway after a struggle with police. A 56-year-old Westchester man collected $150,000 in taxpayer-funded Superstorm Sandy relief by claiming his damaged Jersey Shore home as his primary residence, state authorities charged. The home that Thomas Aquilino of Yonkers owns on Baltimore Avenue in Point Pleasant that was damaged by the historic storm is actually a summer/weekend property, New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir S.
