A driver was rescued from their car and taken to a hospital after striking a utility pole in Northern Westchester, causing live power lines to fall on their vehicle. The crash happened on Monday, June 17 around 2 p.m., when a vehicle struck a utility pole on Knowlton Avenue in Mount Kisco, according to the Mount Kisco Volunteer Fire Department. Firefighters made use of a rope system during the dramatic rescue of a victim who fell around 20 feet down a steep hill in Northern Westchester. The incident happened on Saturday, June 8, when an elderly person fell from the top of a steep hill in the Village of Mount Kisco, according to the Mount Kisco Volunteer Fire Department. 3-Alarm Blaze Breaks Out At Business In Mount Kisco
An overnight three-alarm blaze at a store in Northern Westchester prompted a large response from several fire departments and left the business damaged. The blaze broke out around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at the Mast Market in Mount Kisco located at 92 South Moger Ave., prompting a response from several fire departments in the area.
