Longtime Westchester County Association Chairman Bill Plunkett Dies Beloved lawyer Bill Plunkett, who served as chairman of the Westchester County Association and was also an integral part of several other important institutions, has died.  Plunkett, a longtime resident of Tarrytown, died on Sunday, April 16 at the age of 82, according to his obituary. Popular Middle School Assistant Principal In Westchester Dies At 49 Byron Womack, a very popular assistant principal at Port Chester Middle School, died overnight, officials said on Tuesday, Feb. 20. He was 49 years old. Details about funeral services have not been announced, but counseling is being offered to students and staff at PCMS, which is in session this week.
