Motorist Damages Park Bench, Garbage Can After Losing Control Of BMW In Westchester, Police Say A 61-year-old man accidentally lost control of his car in Westchester, driving through some bushes and into a park bench over the weekend, police said. Officers from the Scarsdale Police Department were dispatched to Memorial Park at Boniface Circle shortly before 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, where there was a report of a motorist who hopped the curb and struck the bench, dislodging a nameplate.
