A Northern Westchester school district has selected a new assistant superintendent who will soon be leaving his current role at another municipality in the county. The Chappaqua Central School District Board of Education has appointed Doreen O’Leary as the next principal of Roaring Brook Elementary School, effective July 1. Currently serving as principal of Island Avenue Elementary School in Madison, CT, since 2013, O’Leary began her career in education implementing a variety of instructional and assessment practices as an elementary school teacher for Stamford Public Schools.
