Boy Accused Of Hitting Other Student, Yelling Racial Slur At School In Northern Westchester
A 12-year-old student at a Northern Westchester school was arrested for allegedly hitting another student while yelling a racial slur.
The student at Lakeland Copper Beech Middle School in Yorktown Heights was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 10, after a case of "aggravated harassment," was assigned to the school resource officer to investigate, said the Yorktown Police.
An investigation into the incident, which took place on Tuesday, Oct. 8, found that the student allegedly hit another student while calling him a racial slur, police said.
