Woman Charged With 'Torturing, Injuring Animal' After Dog's Death A Poughkeepsie woman was arrested after her veterinarian notified police that her dog had died due to abuse, according to the New York State Police. Erica L. Feliciano, 31, was arrested on Thursday after troopers in the Poughkeepsie barracks received complaints from a town of LaGrange veterinary hospital regarding possible animal abuse, said Trooper AJ Hicks, spokesman for the state police. Troopers on patrol shortly before 11 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8 stopped a Honda Accord on Noxon Road in LaGrange for violations of the vehicle and traffic law. During the subsequent stop, troopers detected “a strong odor of marijuana” and further investigation revealed that the driver, Bronx resident Linval Robinson, 36, was in possession of an estimated 3.6 pounds of marijuana, leading to his arrest.
