Beloved Mother, Volunteer From Mount Kisco Dies At 57 A beloved wife and mother from Northern Westchester is being remembered for her willingness to donate her time to countless volunteer works and her devotion to her family.  Mount Kisco resident Beth Mannion died on Saturday, Aug. 5 at the age of 57 after a battle with ovarian cancer, according to her obituary.  Born in Mount Kisco in 1965, Mannion grew up in Bedford Hills and graduated from Fox Lane High School in 1983.  She then went on to earn an Associate's Degree from Westchester Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Western Connecticut…

Support Pours In For Family Of 17-Year-Old Student-Athlete Who Died After Battling Cancer Just one day after a popular 17-year-old student was laid to rest, support is pouring in for the family on a GoFundMe page. Brendan James Maguire, 17, of Patterson died on Monday, Aug 20. He had been diagnosed with osteosarcoma 14 months ago. He played both basketball and baseball at Kennedy Catholic High School in Somers, where his courage and faith, displayed throughout his illness, inspired all those around him. "Brendan was a great kid, one of the nicest, funniest, and most caring people we knew," said his teammates on the GoFundMe page started to help the family any expenses.…
