3 Rescued After Boat Capsizes In Area Reservoir
Three people were saved after their boat capsized in a Hudson Valley reservoir. On Wednesday, Nov. 2 around 12 p.m., first responders were dispatched to the Croton Falls Reservoir in Carmel in the area of Hemlock Dam Road after a boat containing three people capsized, according to Mahopac fire officials. With the help of a team of Mahopac fire officials, Carmel Police, and the Putnam County Sheriff, the three people were taken back to shore and transported to Danbury Hospital, officials said. Paramedics rushed to the scene to treat the occupants of a BMW SUV after a rollover crash in the area. First responders in Putnam County from the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire, Mahopac Police, Carmel Police departments, and Putnam County paramedics responded to the incident that happened on Hill Street at approximately 11:35 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27. Two Injured After Rollover Crash In Area
Two were injured when a driver lost control of a vehicle and rolled over, landing more than 20 feet off the roadway in Putnam County, officials said. Jack Casey, the Mahopac Fire Department public information officer, said that first responders were dispatched to Union Valley Road shortly after 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 29, where there was a reported rollover crash. Dog Dies After House Fire Breaks Out In Hudson Valley
A dog died after being caught in a house fire that broke out in the Hudson Valley. Crews in Putnam County from the Mahopac Falls Fire Department responded to the blaze early on Sunday, Aug. 30 when smoke was seen coming out of a house on Lake Shore Drive in the Lake Secor neighborhood. A driver was injured when a box truck and sedan collided on a busy stretch of Route 6. Shortly after noon on Wednesday, Aug. 12, first responders in Putnam County were dispatched to a stretch of Route 6, where there were reports of a two-car crash with injuries in Mahopac.
