Taconic Parkway Single-Lane Closure Scheduled 'Until Further Notice'
There will be lane closures on the Taconic State Parkway in the Hudson Valley for the foreseeable future, the New York State Department of Transportation announced. Single lane closures have been scheduled northbound between exit 43 (Route 82) and exit 63 (Bulls Head Road) in the towns of LaGrange, Pleasant Valley, Clinton and Stanford in Dutchess County. New Tappan Zee Bridge Now Open In Full As Traffic Flows On Westchester-Bound Span
The new Tappan Zee Bridge has now opened in full. All four lanes of the new bridge's second span opened around 10 p.m. Tuesday. (See video above and also linked here.) A “perfect storm” of construction and repairs may cause a nightmarish commuter into Manhattan for several years. Year-Long Lane Closures Start On Merritt Parkway
Motorists planning on traveling on the Merritt Parkway in Fairfield and Westport may see delays and detours for more than a year as overnight closures are scheduled as construction activity ramps up for the summer season.
