These Northern Westchester HS Students Named National Merit Scholarship Finalists Half a dozen high school seniors from Northern Westchester have been selected as finalists in a prestigious national program.  Six seniors from Byram Hills High School in Armonk have been named as finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program, the Byram Hills Central School District announced on Thursday, Feb. 15.  The six students are:  Cyrus Aly; Samara Brown; Aaron Lestz; Daniel Ndocaj; Alexander Woodworth; Yicheng Yang. Support Pours In For Family Of Beloved HS Student In Fairfield County Who Died At Age 15 A prayer vigil will be held to honor a 15-year-old high school student who died unexpectedly in Fairfield County. Thomas John Bergeron III, of Ridgefield, died on Monday, Oct. 30. Tommy was the beloved son of Eliana (Romero) and Thomas John Bergeron Jr., and the loving brother of Luna Bergeron, according to his obituary.  Ridgefield Public Schools officials made the announcement to the community on Monday but did not name the student. Long Island resident Matthew Kyrillidis, of East Northport, died Thursday, Sept. 29, according to his obituary. A cause of death was not given. Born to parents Christopher and Danielle, Kyrillidis went on to attend Chaminade High School, a Catholic school in Mineola, his memorial said.
