Public Health Alert Issued For Frozen Chicken Product Due To Possible Listeria Contamination
A public health alert has been issued for more than 130,000 pounds of frozen, fully-cooked, diced chicken products due to possible listeria contamination.
FSIS said that a total of 130,860 pounds of poultry products that were packaged and shipped out earlier this year are now subject to the public health alert following an inspection that determined they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
The frozen, fully cooked, diced chicken items were packed on Monday, Jan. 25, Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021, Tuesday, March 23, and Wednesday, March 24.

Wegmans Food Markets, Inc. announced it is recalling its four-pound bags of Valencia Oranges, two-pound bags of lemons, bulk lemons, and a variety of in-store produced seafood and restaurant foods items that contain fresh lemon because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

Recall Issued For Ready-to-Eat Chicken Sausage Products
More than 55,000 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken sausage products are being recalled due to an undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced.
BrucePac, an Oregon-based company, announced it is recalling approximately 55,550 pounds of products that contain a pork casing, which is not declared on the label.

Nearly 2,000 pounds of raw chicken products are being recalled due to misbranding and undeclared allergens on the label.
Creative Food Processing, based out of Santa Clara, California, is recalling approximately 1,941 pounds of poultry products that may contain wheat, which was not listed on the label, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced.
The recalled item is - one-pound sealed trays containing “Green Meadows Premium Meat Cuts Savory Chicken Boti Kebab” with use or freeze by dates from "May 1, 2019, to Nov. 20, 2019," on the label.

Local residents are being encouraged to check their refrigerators following a recall of thousands of pounds of a popular meatball product.
Home Market Foods, Inc,, based out of Massachusetts, is recalling approximately 53,217 pounds of frozen, ready-to-eat beef and pork meatball products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced.
