A 28-year-old woman with a previous DWI conviction was arrested for alleged impaired driving after falling asleep behind the wheel while making a turn onto a busy Westchester intersection, police said. A man with a previous DWI conviction was busted for allegedly illegally driving a vehicle when he was stopped for not wearing his seatbelt in Westchester, police said. A Scarsdale officer on patrol at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, spotted village resident Nagasaki Iturriaga, 36, driving east on Mamaroneck Road near the Post Road intersection without a seatbelt on, prompting a traffic stop. A man who had his driver’s license suspended for failing to pay child support was arrested in Scarsdale over the weekend when officers ran the license plates of his BMW and found the registration was suspended.
