Trapped Driver Rescued From Car After Accident In Westchester County
One person is injured after they became trapped in their car following an accident in Westchester County, requiring them to be rescued. The accident happened on Tuesday, Dec. 27 around 8:45 p.m., in Harrison in the area of White Plains Avenue and High Street, according to the West Harrison Fire Department. Upon arriving, firefighters realized the driver was trapped in their car which was lying on its side and needed to be extricated. One person had to be extricated from his vehicle and airlifted from the scene of a two-car crash that left two others hospitalized in Putnam County, officials said. First responders in Mahopac were dispatched to Baldwin Place Road near the intersection of Route 6 at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24, where there was a report of a multi-car crash, Mahopac Falls Fire Department Public Information Officer Jack Casey said. Car Coming Off Taconic Parkway Crashes Into Booth At FDR Park
A motorist had to be extricated from a vehicle after crashing into a booth at FDR Park in Yorktown Heights. First responders were dispatched to the park at approximately 3:20 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, when there were reports of a motor vehicle crash that required the extraction of the driver after he drove through a booth. Officials said that upon arrival, first responders found the driver trapped in the car, alive and conscious, standing inside, but unable to exit on his own.
