Man Who Crashed Into Pole In Northern Westchester Was Impaired, Police Say
A Cortlandt man was charged with driving while high on drugs after crashing into a utility pole, according to New York State Police. Michael L. Wyskida, 30, was charged around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 1, with felony driving while ability impaired by drugs with a prior conviction within 10 years after troopers observed his vehicle collide with a utility pole, said Spokesman Trooper AJ Hicks. An investigation determined that Wyskida was under the influence of drugs and was arrested. He was issued traffic tickets and released with a court date of April 16.

Suspect Nabbed Again After Fleeing On Foot After I-84 Stop, Police Say
A familiar face attempted to evade New York State Police troopers on Tuesday morning after being busted driving while under the influence of marijuana in Putnam County, tossing credit cards and checks as he fled on foot, according to a state police spokesperson. Troopers conducted a traffic stop of Bronx resident Earl Allen, 26, after he committed multiple vehicle and traffic violations on I-84 in Southeast.
