TV Star Steve Wilkos Injured In Car Crash In Area Television personality Steve Wilkos was taken to the hospital after being involved in a car accident in Darien this week, according to police. Darien Police said that at around 4:20 p.m. on Sunday, an officer on patrol discovered a one-car accident on West Avenue in the area of Turnabout Lane. The officer saw a car lying on its passenger side at the edge of the eastbound lane, which appeared to have sustained heavy damage, police said.
