Westchester Dad Left Three Kids Alone In Car While Working In Fairfield County, Police Say A Westchester man has been charged after police say he left his three children alone in the car while working in Fairfield County. Darien Police say they responded to Kensett Lane on a report of a car idling in a parking lot for two hours with children inside on Tuesday, July 23 around 12:45 p.m. Officers arrived, interviewed the children, ages 8, 4 and 4, and learned that their father was allegedly working in the area. ID'd Released For Man Found Dead At Metro-North Station In Area ID'd Released For Man Found Dead At Metro-North Station In Area
ID'd Released For Man Found Dead At Metro-North Station In Area A man whose body was found under the Springdale train station platform in Stamford has been identified as a New Canaan resident. Stephen Sugrue, 65, was found under the platform late Saturday afternoon, Dec. 29, according to Metro-North officials. The cause of death is pending results the Medical Examiner's Office. MTA police are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death. Sugrue's death was the second death of a New Canaan resident near the tracks. John Hickey, 50, was killed on Dec. 13, 2018, by a train between the Darien and Noroton Heights stations.

ID Released For Man Struck, Killed By Metro-North Train Metro-North officials have released the identity of a 50-year-old man who was hit and killed by a train last week. John Hickey, 50, of New Canaan, was struck and killed Thursday night near Darien, said Metro-North officials. The incident took place around 7:35 p.m. Dec. 13 at Noroton Heights. The train had departed Grand Central at 6:49 p.m. headed for New Haven. Hickey was pronounced dead at the scene.  MTA Police are investigating.

Know Him? Police Seek To ID Suspect Who Used Credit Card Stolen In Northern Westchester Police are asking for help in identifying a man who used a stolen credit card at numerous businesses in Westchester and Fairfield counties and on Long Island. Pound Ridge Police said the man, described as being 40 to 50 years old, 6-foot tall, with a medium build, used the stolen card during the month of May at stores in Yonkers, Darien and Manhasset. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white tee shirt, sunglasses, and a purple Lakers hat.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pound Ridge Police Department Detective Division at 914-764-4530.
