Hudson Valley Man Nabbed For 3 Commercial Burglaries, Arrested For Shoplifting, Police Say A man from the region who had been nabbed for three alleged commercial burglaries was arrested again for shoplifting at a Walmart store. Sullivan County resident Justus McMoore, age 37, of Monticello, was arrested on Saturday, Oct. 22 in the town of Thompson after a brief foot chase. According to Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty,  McMoore was spotted by security staff in Walmart allegedly shoplifting $161 dollars worth of merchandise.  When he was confronted by security, McMoore ran out of the store and headed south on Route 42, police said. Police Probe Westchester Commercial Burglary Suspect's Possible Connection To Other Crimes Police in Westchester are investigating to determine whether a recently apprehended burglary suspect is connected to other commercial burglaries in the area. In the City of Rye, an Elm Street business was victimized by a burglar shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 28, with a suspect making off with a stolen laptop that was located in the office. A day later, on Tuesday, March 29, the City of Rye Police Department announced the arrest of Brooklyn resident Abner Morisset, Jr., age 42, who was identified as the lead suspect in the burglary.
