Magnetic Balls Sold By Walmart Recalled As Feds Cite 7 Deaths Linked To Similar Products Thousands of units of small magnetic balls sold by Walmart and used as stress relievers and building blocks are being recalled after reports of several deaths and numerous hospitalizations due to similar products. The Relax 5mm Science Kit, Large Hematite Magnets Magnetic Stones Building Blocks ball sets (shown in the images above) do not comply with the requirements of the mandatory federal magnet regulation because the sets contain one or more magnets that fit within the Consumer Product Safety Commission's small parts cylinder and the magnets are stronger than permitted. …

Recall Issued For Baby Stroller Brand Over 'Fingertip Amputation' Hazard UPPAbaby is recalling one of its jogging strollers over concerns they may pose a significant safety hazard, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced. The recall involves all UPPAbaby all-terrain RIDGE jogging strollers, which have an extendable canopy with a mesh window and zipper pocket, disc hand brake system, and an adjustable handlebar with a wrist strap. The stroller’s rear disc brakes have openings that can cause amputation or laceration if a child's fingertip gets caught in the openings, CPSC said. NY School District Issues Warning For Thc-laced Cookies Packaged As Popular Brand Names A New York school district is cautioning the community to be wary after discovering that there were cannabis-laced cookies designed to look like name-brand products being sold on store shelves. The PTA for the district, located on Long Island, in the city of Long Beach in Nassau County, alerted Schools Superintendent Jennifer Gallagher that local stores were carrying cannabis-laced cookies that are designed to look exactly like Chips Ahoy and Oreos (see photos above).
