The incident happened on Wednesday, Jan. 24, when a truck caught on fire on Boston Post Road (Route 1) at Hommocks Road in Mamaroneck, according to the town's fire department. One person was killed and two others critically injured after a vehicle hit a utility pole in Westchester and the vehicle burst into flames. The incident took place around 2:37 a.m., Sunday, April 11, in front of 1395 West Boston Post Road in the town of Mamaroneck. A 61-year-old Fairfield County man has been identified as the suspect who fled the scene of a hit-and-run that left a motorcyclist hospitalized in Mamaroneck on Sunday.
