Clorox Recalls Pine-Sol Cleaners Due To Infection-Causing Bacteria
Parent company Clorox is recalling eight Pine-Sol disinfectant cleaning products due to fears they may contain infection-causing bacteria, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced. To date, testing has identified bacteria in certain recalled products, including those produced between January 2021 and September 2022. Clorox produced approximately 37 million recalled products in that period, the CPSC said. Shoppers in Westchester County will have a new wholesale club to shop with the addition of BJ's. Town of Greenburgh Supervisor Paul Feiner announced on Monday, Jan. 31, the wholesale club would be opening in the old Kmart space at the Crossroads Shopping Center. KB US Holdings, the parent company of Kings Food Markets and Balducci’s Food Lover’s Market, which has locations throughout the region, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy amid the COVID-19 pandemic. One Dead In Two-Vehicle Crash At Palisades Center Mall
One person was killed during a two-vehicle crash at the Palisades Center Mall. It happened around 1:15 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 9, on Palisades Center Drive at the mall in West Nyack, said Clarkstown Police Department spokesman Officer Norman Peters. The cause of death is undetermined at this time, Peters said. Police are asking motorists to avoid the area of Palisades Center Drive, near the Snake Hill Road.
