A 40-year-old man faces at least a decade in prison for allegedly enticing a 15-year-old boy into engaging in sexual activity with him in Northern Westchester, federal officials said.
John Lord, age 40, of Sedona, Arizona, was arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 30, and charged with coercing a minor to engage in sexual activity with him in Katonah, the US Attorney's Office for Southern District of New York announced.

Age-Progressed Images Released Of Mom, 2 Kids Who Went Missing In Bedford
Police have released updated age-progressed images depicting a mother and her two children who went missing from their Northern Westchester home more than 45 years ago.
On Feb. 5, 1977, 29-year-old Leslie Guthrie and her two children, Julie, age 6, and Timothy, age 3, went missing from their residence in Katonah and have not been found since, according to the Bedford Police Department.
The three of them were last seen driving in a 1974 Ford Maverick with a white roof that bore New York license plate 636-WNA, police said.

The Bedford Police Department announced its newest addition, a future BluePath service dog named Maverick, on Tuesday, Sept. 27, representatives announced.

A 26-year-old was charged with eavesdropping after investigators reported that he hid surveillance cameras in the master bedroom of a Northern Westchester home.
Melvin Perez-Lopez, of Mount Kisco, was arrested on Friday, July 15, following an investigation, according to a report from the Town of Bedford Police Department on Wednesday, July 27.
On Tuesday, April 19, a homeowner in Bedford Hills reported finding two covert surveillance cameras that were hidden in their master bedroom while they were away, police said.

Police Officer In Bedford Dies Suddenly At Age 25
A police officer who grew up and worked in Northern Westchester has died suddenly.
Nicholas D. Hansen 25, of Pleasantville, died on Thursday, Oct. 1 at his residence. He was an officer with the Town of Bedford Police Department.
He was born on June 15, 1995, to Dean and Vikki (nee Palmieri) Hansen in White Plains.
He was a graduate of Pleasantville High School, Class of 2013, and went on to receive his Associate's Degree.
He was an avid cook and a motorcycle enthusiast, according to his obituary.

ID Released For Man, 22, Killed In Head-On Bedford Crash
A man killed in a head-on crash in Northern Westchester has been identified.
Diego Trejo, 22, of Pound Ridge, was killed around 9:20 p.m., Monday, Dec. 16, on South Bedford Road, said Bedford Police Lt. Andrew Bellantone.
According to Bellantone, a preliminary investigation found that a 2018 BMW 750I traveling eastbound collided head-on with Trejo's 2004 Acura TSX sedan traveling westbound.
Trejo was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, police said.
