Man Nabbed Stealing $225K In Goods From Storage Container In Hudson Valley, Police Say An area 71-year-old has been charged with grand larceny after allegedly stealing more than $225,299 in property from a storage container. Ulster County resident Anthony Diguiseppe, of Accord, a hamlet of the town of Rochester, was arrested on Sunday, March 19. On Friday, March 3, State Police began an investigation of stolen property that exceeded $225,229, said Trooper Steve Nevel. The Investigation revealed that Diguiseppe removed items from a storage container that did not belong to him and moved them to another location, Nevel added. Agitated Man Blocks Hudson Valley Roadway With Truck, Camper, Refuses To Move, Police Say A 53-year-old man was taken to an area hospital for a mental evaluation after he blocked an area roadway for more than 90 minutes after parking his truck and camping trailer across the road. The incident took place in Ulster County around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12 on Route 212 in the town of Saugerties.  Saugerties Police responded to a 911 call for a report of a pick-up truck with an attached camping trailer that had parked sideways on the New York State Thruway overpass, blocking all four lanes of traffic on Route 212, said Chief Joseph Sinagra, of the Saugerties Police.…

Beloved Teacher Killed In Head-On Hudson Valley Crash A beloved teacher was killed in a two-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place in Ulster County on Route 209 in Marbletown around 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 19. Ulster County deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a two-car, serious, physical injury crash at 4174 Route 209 between Old Kings Highway and Kapetanakis Lane, said the Ulster County Sheriff's Office.
