Mount Kisco School Gives Mom A Day Off This Fall

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. - The Mom's Day Out program at Bet Torah Nursery School might be just what some mothers need this fall. Whether you're a stay-at-home mom or working 9-to-5, the program recognizes that all moms need a break.

Fall registration has begun for Mom’s Day Out, which is geared toward toddlers 18 months and older. It combines helping the children get used to separating from parents, socializing with other children, and having fun.

An early-childhood head teacher and teacher’s assistants conduct each morning of learning with music, art, story time, movement, and indoor and outdoor play in a beginning school setting - while parents enjoy a couple of mornings free each week.

The Mom's Day Out fall session begins Sept. 11 and continues through Dec. 20. It will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 to 11:45 a.m. Fees range from $715 to $1,615, with a discount for Bet Torah synagogue members.

Registration is also now open for the nursery school’s Mommy & Me classes, which start Oct. 4 and are held each Thursday; infants can take part from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., and toddlers from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The school's new Daddy & Me "Bagels and Blocks" program on certain Sunday mornings is an additional offering free to Mommy & Me participants.

To register for Mom’s Day Out, Mommy & Me or Daddy & Me programs, call Bet Torah Nursery School, located at 60 Smith Avenue, at (914) 666-7595, or visit the school's website.
