Westchester County Police officers were dispatched to a West Main Street home at approximately 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1, where there was a report of the domestic dispute.
Police said that a relative reported that 23-year-old William Villeda took a picture off a wall during the dispute and threw it at his female victim, injuring her hand. Villeda was arrested and charged with third-degree menacing and has since been released.
Other items on the Mount Kisco Police blotter from Monday, July 30 through Friday, Aug. 3 include:
- On Tuesday, July 31, a Mount Kisco resident reported to county police that he is being harassed by an ex-girlfriend with unwanted text messages. He also said that his ex refused to return a set of car keys. Police spoke with the woman, who agreed to return the keys and has since ceased texting him.
- A van was damaged in front of an East Main Street building when a silver Jeep slammed into it and fled the scene on Friday, Aug. 3. The Jeep was described as a Liberty or Wrangler model that suffered “significant front-end damage.” Police canvassed the area, but failed to locate the Jeep. The incident is under investigation.
