MT. KISCO, N.Y. - Police are seeking witnesses to an accident on Thursday.

Mt. Kisco police are looking for witnesses to a crash involving a police sergeant who was riding a motorcycle on duty for the Memorial Day parade Thursday.

Sgt. Carlos Lopez was on duty on his motorcycle preparing for Thursday’s village Memorial Day parade.He was riding southbound on Lexington Avenue when a car traveling in the opposite direction veered into Lopez's lane and struck him and his 1994 Harley Davidson motorcycle, The Journal News reported.
