Westchester County Police intervention was required in Mount Kisco, after a tenant possibly suffering from mental illness, made alleged threats against staff members in an apartment building.

Staff members at a building on Barker Street reported to County Police on Tuesday, Jan. 16 that a tenant had made violent threats against them, and stated that he believes other people had been entering his apartment when he is not home.

Police said that officers requested assistance from the county’s Department of Community Mental Health and the tenant agreed to be transported to Northern Westchester Hospital Center for evaluation.
