MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. – A Mount Kisco man was sentenced on multiple drug convictions Tuesday after a jury trial, Acting Westchester County District Attorney James McCarty announced.
Wayne Brown, 40, was sentenced to seven years in state prison after being convicted on two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
The convictions stem from a two-month investigation last year by authorities where about 500 mg of cocaine stored in a black balloon was seized, and a search warrant on Brown's home uncovered more cocaine and about 1,000 glassine bags for packaging the drug for street sales.
