$25K Cash, Jewelry Stolen From Safe In Mt. Kisco

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. — A Mount Kisco couple reported that $25,000 in cash and jewelry had been stolen from their home on Carlton Drive, according to the Mount Kisco Police.

The couple called police at 12:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, to report that a safe had been broken into while they were out, police said. The incident is under investigation.

The following items also were reported by Mount Kisco police:

Domestic Incident: The New York City police informed Mount Kisco police Wednesday, Aug. 22, that a 25-year-old Mount Kisco woman may be in danger from her boyfriend, 30, who they believe might have access to weapons. The 12:16 p.m. call stemmed from a domestic incident between the two that occurred in New York City.

Voice Mail Threats: A 63-year-old woman received threatening and alarming voice mails at her workplace from a former Ardsley High School classmate from the class of 1966, police said. Mount Kisco police are looking into the incident, which the woman reported from her North Bedford Road workplace at 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20.
