HYANNIS PORT, Mass. Country music star Taylor Swift joined boyfriend of two months Conor Kennedy and more than 15 members of his family to visit the grave of his mother Mary Richardson Kennedy on Sunday, The New York Daily News reported Tuesday.
The couple, who were spotted in Mount Kisco grabbing a slice at Marcella's Pizza in July, spent their weekend together at the Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port, Mass., according to the Daily News.
The singer appeared to hold Conors hand and comfort him as they stood by the grave site at Francis Xavier Cemetery in Centerville, Mass., and she joined the family, including siblings Kyra, William and Aiden, in prayer, the Daily News said.
Mary Kennedy was initially buried in May near the graves of Eunice and Sargent Shriver after committing suicide at her Bedford home. In July, Mary's estranged husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., moved the plot 700 feet to another area of the cemetery where the Kennedys are considering buying a collection of plots.
The grave is still without a headstone but is adorned with a statue of the Virgin Mary and two small American flags.
The earlier part of Swift's weekend with the Kennedys in Hyannis Port included some other family-centric activities. On Saturday, Swift, 22, accompanied Conor, 18, to his cousin Kyle Kennedys wedding, where she met most of his extended relatives, the Daily News reported.
