As the summer weather starts to heat up, Mt. Kisco residents may need to find themselves a place to cool down. And what better way to do so than a visit to the town pool.
Memorial Day Weekend marks the opening of the Mt Kisco Memorial Pool.
On Saturday, the pool will kick off the summer season from noon to 7 p.m. From May 28 to June 21 the main pool will be open Monday through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. and on weekends from noon to 7 .pm. From June 22 to June 26 the pool will only be open on the weekends from noon to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from noon to 7 p.m. as well. On June 27 the pool reopens for the whole week, with Monday through Friday hours being noon to 8 p.m. and weekend hours 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. From August 13 to September 5 the pool is open every day from noon to 7 p.m.
Schedules for wading pool and diving/competition pool can be found on the towns website.
Registration for the pool must be done at the Mount Kisco Recreation Office at 104 Main Street. Two proofs of residency are required. A residential family permit cost $405. A youth permit is $135, and adult permit is $205 and a senior citizen permit is $100.
There is a pro-rated season permit if bought between August 1 and September 5.
Permit holders are allowed to bring a guess for a small fee.
