Somers Duo Bands Together To Bring New Music To Westchester
Somers residents -- and music lovers -- Adam Bernier and Jacque Roche have joined forces to co-produce a four-hour community music event on Friday, Oct. 27 that will feature performances by several other locals. The mission is to introduce local residents to a variety of talented musicians as well as genres of music. The first of the series is presented by The Schoolhouse Theater & Arts Center in Croton Falls and will feature three individual acoustic performances. Horace Greeley Athletes Help Fight Pediatric Cancer
CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- This season, Greeley athletes are excelling on and off the field.More than a dozen Horace Greeley athletic teams will be participating in the 4th annual Greeley All-Athlete Walkathon on Sunday, Nov. 5 from 11 a.m to 1 p.m at the Horace Greeley High School Competition Field. The event is in honor of Gardner Marks, a Greeley graduate, who lost his life to cancer. This year's walk is also honoring Casey Taub, a Greeley student who succumbed to brain cancer. Expect Traffic As Art Show Comes To Armonk
ARMONK, N.Y. -- Armonk is hosting its annual Armonk Outdoor Art Show on Saturday, Sept. 23 and Sunday, Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the North Castle Community Park at 205 Business Park Drive in Armonk. Due to this event, there will be a significant increase in vehicle and pedestrian traffic along Business Park Drive, North Castle Police said. PURCHASE, N.Y. -- The West Lawn of SUNY Purchase is the new home of Sunday's 2017 Westchester Walk To End Alzheimer's, run by the Alzheimer's Association.
