MOUNT KISCO, N. Y. -- Commuters using the Mount Kisco train station can look forward to a new restaurant operated by the same proprietor who owns Village Social Kitchen and Bar on Main Street, according to The Examiner.
Officials with the Metropolitan Transit Authority announced that Joseph Bueti has a lease to open a new restaurant, Locali, at the train station. No opening date was mentioned but the new restaurant will bring wood-fired pizza and Northern Italian cuisine to the train station, The Examiner reports.
Bueti also owns and operates Locali Pizza Bar in New Canaan, Conn., and a pizza truck that operates in the area.
In Mount Kisco, Locali will replace Via Vanti!, and will pay about $80,000 in rent for the first year for the 2,890-square-foot train station space, The Examiner says.
