MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- Charlie Pieragostini, a lifelong resident, and former Mount Kisco Superintendent of Recreation, has been named Mount Kisco Chamber Citizen of the Year.
Pieragostini was instrumental in building a skate park, a soccer field, the three-pool complex, and the multi-purpose building at Leonard Park. He also volunteered as the first AYSO Soccer Commissioner in the Village, was President of the Maroon’s Junior Football League, and a founding member of the Fox Lane Booster Club.
As President of North East Westchester Special Recreation, Pieragostini has helped to ensure programs for special needs children and adults. Charlie and his wife Jane will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary this June and are the parents of Leigh-Ann and Brian.
