Snowy Weather Possible For Mount Vernon This Week

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. - With snow in the forecast this week, Mount Vernon tenants who have insufficient heat in their buildings are reminded that they can phone the city with all complaints.

Lawns on E. Second Street are covered with a dusting of snow on Tuesday. Mount Vernon is expected to see snow at least two more times this week.

Those having trouble with their heat can call the Mount Vernon Buildings Department at (914) 665-2483.

A light snow is predicted Tuesday night, with a low of 26 degrees. The National Weather Service predicts sunny weather for Wednesday, and a high of 41 degrees.

Clouds are expected to take over on Thursday, with a high of 35 degrees. There is a chance of snow Thursday night into Friday, with high temperatures predicted to reach 43 degrees, with a low of 26.
