Hudson Valley Girl, 12, Found After Going Missing (Update)
New update: A 12-year-old girl who was missing from her Dutchess County home for around two weeks has been found, police said.
Miamor Rivera, who went missing on Saturday, Jan. 25, has been found, the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department announced.
The department did not release more information about her condition or where she was located.

Three New York State employees are accused of stealing money from developmentally disabled residents in the Capital Region.
The women, all employees at the Capital District Developmental Disabilities Services Office (DDSO) in Clifton Park, were arrested on suspicion of fraud and larceny-related charges following an investigation by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday, Jan. 26.

Temple Shooting: 28-Year-Old Federally Charged After Gunshots At NY Synagogue
The man accused of opening fire at a New York synagogue on the first day of Hanukkah has been federally charged.
Mufid Fawaz Alkhader, age 28, of Schenectady, appeared in Albany federal court on Friday, Dec. 8, where he was arraigned on one count of unlawfully possessing a firearm.
According to the criminal complaint, Alkhader approached Albany’s Temple Israel, located on New Scotland Avenue, at around 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7 armed with a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun.
He then fired the weapon twice into the air, prosecutors allege.

16-Year-Old Missing Nearly Week May Be Traveling Through Region, Police Say
Police are asking for help in locating a 16-year-old New York girl who has been missing for nearly a week and may be traveling over 100 miles away from home.
Amalia Colon, of Schenectady, was last seen on Thursday, April 27, Schenectady Police announced on Wednesday, May 3.
Investigators said the teen may be with a female friend and may have traveled to the Bronx.
Colon is described as a white female, 5-feet-4-inches tall and 120 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, and a nose piercing.
