Pedestrian Suffers Several Injuries After Being Hit By State Police Cruiser In Hudson Valley
A pedestrian was hospitalized with injuries after being struck by a New York State Police cruiser on Tuesday morning, Aug. 14. The pedestrian was struck by the marked police vehicle while on patrol in the Town of Lloyd in Ulster County on North Road, near Route 9W, just south of Route 299, at approximately 6 a.m. on Tuesday. The pedestrian suffered “several injuries” and was transported to the MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie for treatment. Woman Killed After Vehicle Is Hit By Porsche Involved In Police Chase
A woman was killed when her pickup truck was struck by a Porsche Cayenne being driven by a 29-year-old man from Poughkeepsie who was involved in a police chase on Sunday night in the Hudson Valley, state police announced Monday.At approximately 7:30 p.m., police responded to a report of an erratic operator in Ulster County. An officer from the Town of Lloyd PD located the vehicle, a 2008 Porsche Cayenne, and attempted to stop the vehicle.
