A suspect has been taken into custody after barricading themselves into a Northern Westchester residence and making threats of harm, police said. The incident happened on Wednesday, Sept. 13, when a person in Yorktown at a residence on Sandpiper Court made threats of harm and claimed they had access to weapons, according to Yorktown Police Chief Robert Noble. A missing Westchester teen who had been gone for more than a week has been found by police. Northern Westchester resident Kristan “John John” Lee, age 15, of Yorktown, went missing on the night of Thursday, Aug 4. Three teenagers are facing charges after police said they spray painted racist and anti-Semitic graffiti in Northern Westchester. The graffiti was discovered on Croton Dam Road under a Taconic State Parkway overpass in Yorktown on Saturday, May 21, according to an announcement from town officials. Police in Northern Westchester are searching for the person responsible for spray-painting racist graffiti. The graffiti was discovered in Yorktown where the Taconic Parkway passes over the Croton Reservoir northbound on Saturday, May 21.
