Police Commissioner Helps Subdue Erratic Man In Yonkers A police commissioner in Westchester made sure he had the backs of his fellow officers while they helped subdue a man acting erratically. Know Him? Police Looking To ID Man In Hospital In Westchester County Police are asking for help in identifying a man who is receiving care in a Westchester County hospital. Suspect Nabbed In Late-Night Yonkers Stabbing A Yonkers man was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after being stabbed in a fight over money, according to Yonkers Police. The attack took place around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, after two men got into a fight over money which escalated into violence, said Sgt. Dean Politopoulos. Police said the victim was found in the vicinity of 1 Hudson St., in the Getty Square area, Politopoulos said. An unidentified suspected was arrested and charged with assault.
