Man, Teen Charged In Death Of Man Found Lying On Roadside In Hudson Valley A 38-year-old area man and a 17-year-old have been charged with alleged manslaughter in connection with the death of another man who was found dead lying on the side of a roadway. Hudson Valley Woman Loses Control Of Car, Lands In Creek, Police Say A Hudson Valley woman was rescued after she lost control of her car and landed in an area creek. Ulster County resident Marlene Sommers, age 60, of Saugerties, was rescued around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25 after driving her 2010 Subaru Outback into a creek, said Joseph Sinagra Chief of Saugerties Police.  According to Sinagra, officers responded to the area of 764 Glasco Turnpike for a call that Sommers had driven off the roadway and landed in Plattekill Creek. Missing 6-Year-Old Boy Found Safe After Slipping Out Of House In Hudson Valley, Police Say After a massive search by police and volunteers, a missing boy was located by police in the Hudson Valley. At around 7:32 a.m., Monday, June 14, the caregiver for the youngster, who is autistic, called 911 to report the 6-year-old had slipped out of a house in Ulster County while she was in another room. Police canines were utilized to search the surrounding neighborhoods and woods in the Town of Saugerties.  Neighbors and residents in the area also assisted police in attempting to locate the child, Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra said.
