Former Yonkers Resident Patricia Harsche, 89, Loved Music, Dance
Patricia June (Gandee) Harsche, of Washington, D.C., formerly of Yonkers, died on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019 at age 89.
She was born July 12, 1930 to Walter and Veronica (Palyo) Harsche. Pat was an accomplished Gold status Arthur Murray dance instructor and awarded a scholarship in classical piano from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Music.
Travels took her to Mare Island, CA where she pursued her love of the arts in ceramics, pottery and stained glass and ran the Teen Club. She also lived in Norfolk, VA, Nagasaki, Japan and Oxnard, CA. Later she lived in Washington, D.C., where …

New York State Police troopers removed 22 allegedly impaired drivers from Hudson Valley roadways during the weekend of Saturday, Oct. 5.

He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of East Fishkill, when he was interviewed after running out of gasoline. Dr. Paul D. Koors, Westchester Native, Dies Unexpectedly At 38
Dr. Paul Daniel Koors, 38, a native of Westchester and resident of Bethel in Fairfield County died on Tuesday, Aug. 28 of sudden heart failure.
Dr. Koors was born on Dec. 5, 1979, in Irvington, the son of Paul and Patricia Koors, MD.
He graduated from the Hackley School, attended Bucknell University and graduated from Brooklyn College before going to medical school at The Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.
He completed his residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, at the University of Virginia in 2017.
Dr. Koors currently was practicing in Danbury.

Employee Steals More Than 50K From Hudson Valley Employer, Police Say
Police detectives, with assistance from the Rockland County District Attorney's Office, arrested a 59-year-old man for stealing more than $50,000 from his employer, the Dynarex Corporation.
Richard F. Farrah of Bethel, Connecticut was arrested Jan. 25 on charges that as an international sales associate he falsified sales order in order to have the money come to him, instead of Dynarex, said the Orangetown Police.
Investigators said Farrah would remove products that had not been paid for, then when he received the products he would use the money for his own personal use, police said.
