Elderly Man Killed In Hyannis Fire Started In Bedroom: Investigators Firefighters say the blaze that killed a man in his 60s on Wednesday, July 10, began with a lit cigarette in the man's bedroom at his Hyannis home.  Neighbors called firefighters to the Oakland Road house just before 5:30 a.m. when they saw smoke billowing out of the one-story home. Crews arrived to find the home fully involved.  Two adults inside were able to escape the flames, but firefighters found one man dead inside, the state Fire Marshal's Office said. Teen ID'd As Victim In Fatal Springfield Crash On I-91 Authorities in Hampden County have identified the victim of a fatal crash last week on I-91 as a 15-year-old boy.  State police were called to the crash site around 4:30 p.m. near northbound Exit 5 on July 2, authorities said.  Police and paramedics provided medical aid at the scene of the crash, state police said. It's unclear if the teenager died at the scene or a nearby hospital.  The boy's name will not be released because of his age.

Police Looking For Truck That Slammed Into Mansfield Fire Engine On I-495, Sped Away State police are asking for the public's help to identify a tractor-trailer that crashed into a Mansfield fire truck on I-495 over the weekend and drove away.  The hit-and-run crash happened around 4:30 a.m. on the southbound lanes near Exit 27 in Norton.
