Officials said that police were dispatched to a North High Street home shortly before 1:15 p.m. on Sunday afternoon when there were reports of shots fired inside the building.
Upon arrival, officers reported that a man had been shot in the forehead, though his injury was not believed to be life-threatening. He was subsequently transported to a local hospital and listed in critical, but stable condition, officials said.
