Walter Dow, 93, Of Mount Vernon, WWII Veteran, Worked For Enz Machine Co.

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. - Walter Dow of Mt. Vernon died Sunday, Aug. 11. He was 93.

Dow was born Dec. 23, 1919, in Mt. Vernon N.Y., to Leroy and Jennie (Munro) Dow. He was a graduate of J.B. Davis High School. He worked for the Enz Machine Company of Springfield N.J. until he retired. He was a veteran of World War II in the United States Army.

Dow is survived by his daughter, Jolaine (Dow) and John Peace of Hawthorne; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; and his wife, Glendora U. Dow.

Family services will be private.
