Those who worked in 2012 who earned less than $47,000 and had children living with them may be eligible for a child tax credit. Those who earned less than $14,000 and didn't have children living with them may be eligible for the earned income tax credit.

The city is asking residents in these situations to call 1-800-829-1040 for more information and potential free tax help.
