A Harrison woman who was allegedly threatening to harm herself surrendered to police after more than five hours of talking with hostage negotiators, said Harrison Police. A former police officer has been sentenced after pleading guilty to attempting to engage in an elaborate cover-up after he hospitalized two people in a hit-and-run crash in Westchester before driving away.
