Police: Man Chokes Two, Including Child, In Hudson Valley Domestic Dispute A 32-year-old man spent the night behind bars after allegedly abusing a child during a domestic incident in Dutchess County. State Police troopers in received a report of a domestic incident at approximately 9 p.m. on Monday night, prompting an investigation.  That investigation determined that Red Hook resident Christopher Struse allegedly choked his first victim, who was reporting the crime, and a child under the age of 6 years old, during the struggle.
