Priest Becomes Third In Westchester This Week To Be Accused Of Sexual Abuse
A reverend at a church has become the third priest in Westchester to be accused this week of sexually sexual assault dating back decades. Rev. William Luciano of the Blessed Sacrament Church in New Rochelle was the third priest to be temporarily removed from his ministry, Cardinal Timothy Dolan wrote in a letter to parishioners dated Thursday, Oct. 3. A New York priest who began his career in Westchester has been suspended from the ministry after sexual allegations with an adult were reported to the Manhattan's District Attorney's Office.
