Former Town Supervisor In Hudson Valley Dies At Age 56
A former town supervisor in the area has died at the age of 56.
Paul Hansut, who served as supervisor in the Town of Lloyd in Ulster County, died on Saturday, July 17.
Hansut, a former Town of Lloyd Police officer, City of Poughkeepsie Police detective, and a former Ulster County legislator, had pancreatic cancer
“Paul was truly dedicated to his family, friends, and community and will be greatly missed,” according to a statement from the Town of Lloyd.

Town Board Member, Ex-Greenburgh Police Officer Dies At 63
Kevin Morgan, a beloved Greenburgh Town Board member, and retired Greenburgh police detective has died.
Morgan, a lifelong resident of Elmsford, died following a short battle with cancer on Thursday, April 4. He was 63.
Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner said the world lost a good man when Morgan passed away.
"Greenburgh Councilman Kevin Morgan was a good man," he said. "Kevin was a good family man – devoted to his wife, children, and grandchildren."
Feiner went on to say that Morgan was a good councilman, a good police officer, and a good neighbor.

Leonard Spano, Patriarch Of Westchester Political Dies, Dies
The first father of politics in Westchester, Leonard Spano, died over the weekend at the age of 88.
Spano, who served as a Westchester County legislator for 22 years and as the county clerk for more than a decade before his retirement in 2005 died on Sunday, his family announced. The cause of death was reportedly heart failure brought on by complications from lymphoma.
