New York State Police released information on Wednesday, July 5 surrounding the crash that happened late last week in Columbia County, near the border of northwestern Dutchess County. A days-long investigation determined that the 2022 Tesla Model X was traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on Route 9 in the town of Livingston and left the roadway at about 1 a.m. on Thursday, June 29.  The vehicle struck a tree and then the residence before the fire started.&n…

Cow Crashes Into Car On Busy Hudson Valley Roadway An area driver received a minor injury after striking a cow that was in the roadway in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place around 8:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 28 in Red Hook in Dutchess County. According to the Red Hook Police Department,  officers were dispatched for a car versus cow auto accident on North Broadway. NY State Police Issue Alert For 22-Year-Old Wanted For Multiple Felonies New York State Police are searching for a 22-year-old man who is wanted on multiple felony charges. Two warrants were issued for the arrest of Deven Hotaling, who is from the Columbia County village of Philmont, after he failed to appear for court dates, State Police reported on Monday, Oct. 4. Police said in May of 2020, Hotaling was arrested by authorities in Livingston for forcibly stealing more than $1,700 from a ride share driver.
